- Introduction
Welcome to my world. My name is Colleen, a 73 year old grandmother who quite recently underwent cardiac surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener, ON Canada. Surgery was a life altering event. My first day in the step down Ward 3 West, after CICU, I announced to my nursing team that I was going to write a book about my experiences. As the days progressed, I decided that a Blog format was the way to go. So here I am, a complete novice to Blogging, but I have a passion to share with you, my post cardiac journey.
